New Owners Changing the Atmosphere at Former “Big Shots” Location

Mark and Angela Liang are working hard to make the 501 Grill a place for fun and food and to shed the “rough” reputation the location used to have.

Salem, OR, July 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The 501 Grill opened in May, after Big Shots closed its doors, and has since been building a reputation for great food in a relaxed and friendly environment. The restaurant is open for all ages until 9pm and 21+ until 2am. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a full complement of cocktails, wines and beers.

The buzz about their food started early, with positive comments showing up on popular review sites such as Urbanspoon and Yelp, and it continues to grow. The venue has also held a classic rock dance, and currently hosts poker tournaments on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays. In August and September they are having a DJ/KJ competition, with the winner earning regular appearances at the bar on the weekends. They also have 7 pool tables, and for a limited time customers can play for free as well as Sunday Football Specials with games displayed on 10 big screen televisions.

“We want people to feel relaxed and comfortable here and already have a reputation for providing the friendliest service around., says Mark Liang, who has been working diligently to provide fun-filled events that can be enjoyed by all ages and interests. It seems to be working; as more and more people are checking them out, and enjoying the experience.

Right now the 501 Grill is offering a “Buy 1 Get One ½ Off” special. Customers can simply mention the special when they order to receive the discount.
