Thursby Software Released the OS X Lion Upgrades to Its Enterprise Mac-Windows Integration Software, ADmitMac v6 and DAVE v9

Arlington, TX, July 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Thursby Software Systems, Inc., today released the OS X Lion upgrades to its market leading enterprise Mac-Windows integration software, ADmitMac v6 and DAVE v9.

The upgrades extend enterprise Mac-Windows management and security integration to the OS X 10.7 Lion platform, with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies, as well as commercial grade file and print sharing with Microsoft DFS and SMB/CIFS for Windows Servers, NAS or Samba storage.

The upgrades are available for free to all customers under a current support contract. Windows IT Pro Magazine recently reviewed ADmitMac, which includes DAVE’s functionality, as “the hands-down choice, 5 stars out of 5, the clear winner,” among Mac-Windows management and security solutions.

Thursby was the first to offer Microsoft storage integration for Macs fifteen years ago with DAVE, going on to define the SMB/CIFS standards with Microsoft in 2002. ADmitMac was the first Mac software to offer Microsoft Active Directory integration nine years ago.

DAVE and ADmitMac together represent man-years of engineering, enterprise level feedback and refinement from tens of thousands of Macs from the Pentagon, to Wall Street, Main Street and Madison Avenue, to Hollywood and around the world.
