A New York Amber Alert has been issued for child with cerebral palsy.

New York State Amber Alert Issued for Disabled Child
Springfield, IL, October 09, 2005 --(PR.com)-- State Police issued an Amber alert on Sunday after two men stole a car containing a 7-year-old child with cerebral palsy and wearing leg braces in Floral Park on Long Island.

Officer Thomas Blanchard, a Nassau County police spokesman, said the carjacking occurred about 1:10 p.m. in front of the Commerce Bank on Jericho Turnpike. Floral Park police referred questions to Nassau County police. In Albany, State Police Sgt. Mark Daniels confirmed that the amber alert had been issued for the child and two male blacks, armed with a handgun and a knife.
