Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Launches New Guide for Groups

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines – winner of the ‘Best Cruise Line for Groups’ accolade in the 2011 Group Travel Awards – has just launched a useful, dedicated brochure for group travel organisers. The new brochure sets out all the benefits available to groups, as well as giving details of capacities of the main rooms on each ship, so that events and meetings can be planned in advance.

Ipswich, United Kingdom, July 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Group booking benefits include Groupsaver special prices and a free cruise place for the group travel organiser*, as well as a choice of:

• Free On Board Spend
• Free parking at the port or airport
• Free coach transfers to and from port
• Free ‘Welcome Aboard!’ drinks party for hosted groups
• Preferential group dining
• Exclusive use of onboard facilities, such as card room, lecture areas and meeting
rooms for private group activities
• Dedicated group travel support in the UK
• Free supporting promotional material

The new groups brochure gives detailed information on each of the four ships in the Fred. Olsen fleet – Balmoral, Braemar, Boudicca and Black Watch – so that group travel organisers can see at a glance what facilities each ship had to offer, and the size of each public room, making it easier to chose the ship most appropriate to their group’s needs.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Group Sales Executive Ellie Fulcher, said:

“The most important thing about Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ group bookings is that we work hand-in-hand with group travel organisers, to tailor-make their specific trip, and ensure that everything is just right for them.

“We recognise that each group is different, and we work hard to ensure that the every aspect of the groups experience, both onboard and ashore, is enjoyable and trouble-free.”

Fred. Olsen was also crowned the ‘Best Cruise Line for Groups’ in last year’s Group Leisure awards.

*Applicable when group target is achieved. The group target for the 2012/13 programme varies from 12 to 20 guests, depending on the cruise chosen. Available benefits may vary depending on cruise and group size.
