Fort Worth, TX, July 22, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- eCommerce Industries, Inc. (ECi), a leader in industry-specific information technology solutions, today announced Jim Morris will deliver the keynote address at Connect Conference 2011, a national users’ meeting for their software solutions. The conference will be held November 1–3, 2011, at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas.
As the featured speaker, Mr. Morris will open the conference on November 2, delivering his inspirational message about following dreams and the importance of having a game plan for success. His incredible story begins when as a 35-year-old high school physics teacher and coach, he made a bet with his baseball team that if the team won a district championship he would try out for the big leagues. When the team won, he followed through with his promise. Just three months later, Morris achieved his dream of pitching in the big leagues by striking out the first hitter he faced. Morris’ story was highlighted in the Disney movie “The Rookie” starring Dennis Quaid.
“Everyone can relate to Jim Morris’ remarkable story,” says Ron Books, President and CEO of ECi Software Solutions. “He is just an ordinary guy who, through hard work and determination, experienced something extraordinary. But really, it’s a story about how having a game plan and sticking to it produces awesome results. We think our customers will relate to him on a personal basis and will be truly inspired by his message.”
