As Chairman, Dedrick will serve as liaison for the Board of Contractors, where he will focus primarily on membership and strategic planning. Dedrick will also dedicate his time to workforce development, negotiating reform in North Carolina and lobbying legal affairs. The organization’s mission is the advancement of the merit shop construction philosophy, which encourages open competition and a free-enterprise approach that awards contracts based solely on merit, regardless of labor affiliation.
