High Speed Hallelujahs Take Over: Corinthia Falls Published by Outskirts Press

Author Kim Hutson brings in to the little community of Corinthia Falls a mysterious ex-Green Beret evangelist and his canine sidekick to help shake up a dysfunctional congregation and spring a successful Christian ministry onto the world.

Vian, OK, July 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Author Kim Hutson announced today the release of Corinthia Falls, published by Outskirts Press. Deacon Johnson’s Corinthia Falls Church is about to change for good when Colonel Pavlos Lincoln Armstrong and his dog Silas arrive in town in this rollicking new Christian work.

“Boys, looks like the Sam boy and a goat brought more people to the lord today than this here church has done on its own in the last ten years,” exclaims Deacon Johnson one Sunday morning. A shirtless young barefoot boy has just stormed the church along with a goat painted bright red. The boy has a deer head pulled over his head and his body too, is painted a brilliant red.

The boy has been yelling, “Repent, repent, ye sinners, or ye will turn into a goat” during the unexpected intrusion designed to make mockery of the dysfunctional Corinthia Falls parishioners.

There were two sides to this congregation and each put out its own peculiar energy, two vectors of force that met in the main aisle of the church and, sticking against each other like glue, effectively locked up any progress the church would ever make toward serving God. In the left side pews were the “Standers,” a charismatic bunch of folks who were always on their feet, hands waving in the air, voices shouting amens and blessings. In the right side pews sat – and always sat – the “Setters,” their backs stoically straight, their faces grimaced with the ongoing disdain they felt for their church mates on the left.

After the Sam boy burst into their ranks that Sunday morning, however, there were immediately four new testimonials, five re-dedications and one on-the-spot conversion.

Corinthia Falls was suddenly on a highway to new heights of Christian praise for God, but when the ex-Green Beret preacher arrived shortly afterward -- all dressed in black, his dog Silas by his side -- the speed limit on that highway was thrown away. A ministry of Corinthia Falls youth was being made ready to change over the world.
