Manhattan Beach, CA, July 28, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Blaze Hill Press, a newly launched independent publisher specializing in art and photography books, today announced the three titles that will comprise its first list to be published in Spring, 2012.
The three titles are Eyes On: Abstracts, Eyes On: Landscapes and From the Flea Market. Abstracts and Landscapes are the initial books of the Eyes On series. Each Eyes On book showcases the work of emerging, mid-career and established contemporary artists from around the world interpreting a single theme in a variety of styles and media. From the Flea Market features Manhattan Beach, CA based photographer Joe Guimera’s still lifes of oddly juxtaposed objects, unusual pieces and old favorites found in Southern California flea markets.
“Our goal is to publish beautiful, well designed books to celebrate, showcase and promote the work of outstanding visual artists worldwide,” said company spokesman Scott Richards. “Our editorial team is excited to work with Joe, whose photographs of flea market objects give a new meaning to the old saying that ‘one man’s junk is another man’s treasure’ and with the world-class artists that will be part of the Eyes On series. We are committed to working with our artists to create distinctive and inspiring books of visual art.”
