New Children’s Book Features Teddy Bear Adventure

Denver, CO, March 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Even with a roomful of toys, young Johnny is bored and doesn’t know what to do. But thanks to his mom, Johnny enters into the wonderful land of his imagination, where together with a teddy bear named Billy, he embarks on an exciting Wild West adventure.

Wanted: Billy the Bear is a tale parents will relate to and children will revel in. With twenty-eight pages of lighthearted color illustrations, young readers will be taken into a world of playful fantasy.

Author Michael Willert, from Pine City, Minnesota, is best known for his work as a lyricist. Putting his imagination to work in story form, he brings an understanding of children and the wonder of childhood to his writing and illustrations in Wanted: Billy the Bear. “I love to see happy smiles on children and hope that my books will bring excitement, surprise and laughter to their faces.” One of his greatest pleasures, he says, is to work with his young daughter, providing illustrations for her stories. A portion of all his book sales will be donated to the National MS Society and the American Cancer Society, in memory of Willert’s mother who passed away in December of 2005.
