)-- Sagem signed an agreement with global safety and quality management provider Gael Ltd, who has offices in the UK, USA and UAE. Together, they have developed an integrated gateway between Sagem’s Analysis Ground Station (AGS) and Gael’s Q-Pulse quality, safety and risk management solution. Based on this agreement, the two companies will be able to offer a turnkey solution that enables the recording and analysis of flight data within a safety and risk management system including audits and training.
The agreement was signed by Ashley Marron, Chief Operating Officer of Gael, Ltd., and Philippe Arnaud, Senior Vice-President Avionics Division of Sagem.
Announcing the event at the Paris Air Show, Ashley Marron said, “Gael and Sagem have worked together very successfully in the past and this partnership reinforces our commitment to developing solutions that help the aviation safety community in years to come."
Philippe Arnaud said, “The partnership with Gael is crucial for Sagem to maintain the best level of product solution for our Cassiopee users. Demands from regulators and aviation insurers mean that our customers require us to provide a strong SMS solution that is integrated with our FDM solution, AGS. As a market leader in Aviation SMS solutions, Gael is clearly the best partner to build a joint offer with. Our customers can be confident that our common effort will enable them to easily demonstrate best practice in flight operations safety.”
Through this partnership, Sagem aims to become the world leader in risk management and flight safety services for airlines and other operators from around the world. It will offer best-in-class analysis services, along with a new application providing complete operational support services. More than 160 airlines and other operators now use each of these integrated applications.
More generally, the agreement will enable Sagem to consolidate its Cassiopée product range, by offering top-quality ground and flight services to all operators, including airlines, business jet owners and helicopter fleets.
