Boxing Card Update for Aug. 19 Friday Night Fights at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Amir Mansour, Ronica Jeffrey, Edgar Santana Going for Belts

Dover, DE, August 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Tickets are selling fast for the Aug. 19 multiple championship night of boxing in the Rollins Center arena at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. Amir “Hard Core” Mansour, 14(11)-0 will face Dominick “The Southern Disaster” Guinn, 33(22)-7-1 for the WBO NABO Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship, interim title. The NABO title will place the winner among the Top 15 heavyweights in the world.

Going for his first title shot is Edgar “The Kid” Santana, 25(16)-3(1) of Spanish Harlem, N.Y., who will fight for the interim WBA NABA Light Welterweight title. His opponent has not yet been signed.

Former top-ranked Golden Gloves champion “Queen” Ronica Jeffrey, 7(1)-0 will challenge fellow New Yorker Ela “Bam Bam” Nunez, 9(2)-9(1)-1, for the vacant NABF Female Super Featherweight Title. This is Jeffrey’s first professional title opportunity.

The undercard includes newcomers, cruiserweight Lamont “The Problem Solver” Singletary, 1-0 of Dover, who will face William Clint Green, 1(1)-2(1) of Hannibal, Mo. Super featherweight Omar Douglas, who won his debut fight last May at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, will take on Corey White, 1(1)-2 of Ohio.

Rounding out the undercard are light heavyweight Anthony “Caputo” Smith, 10(8)-0 of Kennett Square, Pa., against Steve “The Spoiler” Walker, 25(17)-27(23) of Hannibal, Mo., and light welterweight “Rockin” Ryan Belasco, 14(3)-5-3 of Wilmington against Fernando “The Whip” Basora, 8(7)-6(6)-1, of Bronx, N.Y. Cruiserweight Dan “Bada Bing” Biddle, 7(5)-1 of Hockessin is also on the card; his opponent has yet to named.
