)-- San Diego Self Storage will be sponsoring the 29th Annual United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) San Diego Golf Classic on Monday, August 8th at The Crossings Carlsbad Golf Course located at 5800, The Crossings, Carlsbad, CA 92008, beginning at 11:30 am. The event includes a post-tournament awards dinner and an entry fee of $325 per person provides all players with lunch, greens fees, golf cart dinner, tee prizes and refreshments.

UCP is among the top ten largest non-profit organizations in the country with more than 100 affiliates nationwide providing programs and services to children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Statistics show that 1 out of 278 people have some type of cerebral palsy. 50% of children born with CP are born prematurely. And 85% of all monies raised stays in San Diego County, which is used for local program services that United Cerebral Palsy provides. The local UCP affiliate was founded in 1958.
