Laser Spine Institute’s Nurse Anesthetist Lynette Bear Receives Doctorate Degree

Leader in Endoscopic Spine Surgery Recognizes Five-Year Veteran for Postgraduate Studies.

Philadelphia, PA, August 05, 2011 --( Bill Horne, CEO of Laser Spine Institute (, the leader in endoscopic spine surgery, has announced that Lynette Bear, nurse anesthetist, has received a doctorate degree in nursing with a concentration in executive leadership from Rush University in Chicago, Ill. A five-year veteran of Laser Spine Institute, Bear served on the medical teams in both Tampa and Scottsdale before assisting in the Philadelphia surgery center launch in 2009. As part of her doctoral dissertation, Bear conducted research while in Arizona analyzing the impact of hypnosis on anesthesia, resulting in an enhanced understanding of hypnosis therapy during patient procedures.
