Newport Beach, CA, August 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Recently made famous by reports of sightings throughout the western United States, "Hunt for the Chupacabra" is intended to be a free short story that begins a new anthology of Old West thriller novels based on the cultural phenomenon, el chupacabra.

"'Hunt for the Chupacabra' is similar to a stand alone prologue for my upcoming novel, 'Night of the Chupacabra', a fusion of two favorite genres of mine - thrillers and westerns," stated Hebler. "Developing a deeply emotional series that centers on the importance of family and love within the context of a dangerous and unsuspecting world has been an absolute passion of mine.”

Author Hebler is hard at work completing 'Curse of the Chupacabra,' Book Two in the Chupacabra Series and currently plans to extend his anthology to five novels, with additional free side short stories between each novel.
