)-- Blaze Hill Press, a recently launched independent publisher of art and photography books today announced the appointment of Manhattan Beach, CA photographer Joe Guimera as Editor-in-Chief, effective immediately. A former lawyer, Guimera will be primarily responsible for the Eyes On series, which showcases the work of emerging, mid-career and established contemporary visual artists from around the world interpreting a single theme in a variety of styles and media.
"Joe brings a unique sets of skills to us,” said Scott Richards, Blaze Hill’s publicity director. “He has a wonderful artistic vision developed as a photographer, great business and administrative skills from his days as an attorney and businessman, and a great passion for art.
