WeRecycle! Announces Launch of Redesigned Website

New Site Provides E-Waste recycling Information in an Attractive, Streamlined Manner

Mount Vernon, NY, August 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- WeRecycle! has launched a newly designed website that provides browsers with a way to easily find answers to all questions relating to electronics recycling.

The new look includes a new format and several new features. Everything is no more than one click away.

“We are an ever-changing company, in an ever- changing industry,” said Mick Schum, P.E., President, WeRecycle! “We wanted the redesigned website to portray the energy and business goals of WeRecycle! and be simple to use and east to navigate.”

One of the key features of the site is the “Recycle Now” section. It includes an e-waste recycling site and event finder, in addition to state specific pages and other helpful links for electronics disposal. This section is specifically designed for consumers and is interactive, as well as informative.

A second innovation to the site is the section entitled “How We Work”. Here visitors can find out all about the company by clicking on separate tabs which then expand to present content and graphics. The graphics visually explain the WeRecycle! process and also what material is found in a laptop. This information is not fundamental to the average electronics consumer. The hopes are that these graphics and explanations will familiarize consumers with the e-waste recycling process and prompt them to dispose of their used electronics is an environmentally safe manner, and not put them in the landfill.

Along the same lines as accustoming consumers with why they should recycle electronics, the site also touts the e-Stewards certification that WeRecycle! is proud to hold.
