Mahoney & Associates fills five strategic management positions during the first quarter of 2007.

Fort Lauderdale, FL, March 31, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Mahoney & Associates, a privately-held compensation and benefits management firm, announces the addition of five key staff members in support of its exceptional growth strategy for 2007.

Richard Boothby has been appointed Director, Executive Benefits. Mr. Boothby has held several high-level management positions in the financial services industry and brings with him over 25 years of experience in the design, implementation, financing and administration of supplemental executive benefits programs. This critical position is of strategic importance to the design and development of the firm’s full complement of executive benefits services.

Joanna Marini has joined as Senior Consultant. Ms. Marini possesses extensive experience managing national health and welfare plans and has held leadership roles within the human resources and benefits fields. She will be instrumental in the strategic management of all aspects of clients’ benefits plans. Her ability to align resources and relationships across all departments within Mahoney & Associates is a crucial element in fueling the firm’s additional growth.

Diane Sorrentino joins the Client Services department as a Benefits Specialist. Ms. Sorrentino’s background encompasses health and welfare plan management as well as in-depth experience in the healthcare industry. She is attuned to the day-to-day challenges employers face with regard to employee benefits and is well-positioned to apply the firm’s internal resources to achieve clients’ corporate objectives.

John Williams is the Enrollment & Education Specialist for Executive Benefits. Mr. Williams has a strong background in sales and has held several high-level positions throughout the financial services industry. He is a primary player in the enrollment process for executive benefit programs and his knowledge and experience will be of key importance in growing the firm’s executive life services.

J. David Shrum is a Benefit Consultant with Sales & Marketing. Mr. Shrum possesses 25 years of sales experience in the financial services industry with proven team-building and management skills. He is experienced in large territory management and will play an essential role in developing new business.
