PublishAmerica Presents Adoption Romanian Style by Janet Winkel

Frederick, MD, April 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- PublishAmerica is proud to present Adoption Romanian Style by Janet Winkel of Chandler, Arizona. In August of 1990, while watching 20/20, Winkel learned of the horrible conditions and poor care that Romanian orphans endure. She and her husband felt the Lord wanted them to do something about the situation. After praying earnestly and despite being in their late forties and thinking about retiring, the difficulties of the culture shock, the language barrier, the bad conditions, and the Gulf war, they decided that Janet would go to this third-world country and try to adopt two children.

“This is the five and a half week account of my stay in Romania and the things that I saw, heard and went through while I experienced Adoption Romanian Style,” Winkel said.

Janet Winkel, born in Washington State and now living in Arizona, has worked as an operator, construction flagger, merchandiser and sales representative. She has enjoyed baseball and tackle football. She enjoys crafts, painting and golfing. Married forty-two years, she has five children and seven grandchildren.
