Local Church Moves Into Popular Movie Theater

A church and a movie theater seem like an unusual match, but for The Crossing@High Point it is a logical choice.

High Point, NC, April 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Why would a church move to a movie theater? If you ask Pastor Chris Lockhart and the people at The Crossing@High Point the answer is simple. "We are a contemporary church focused on making a difference in our community. We want to reach the community and especially those not in a traditional church," states Lockhart.

The services at The Crossing are unlike anything else in the area. High powered, modern music, amazing video and multimedia presentations and a relevant message applied to today’s world set this church apart from the crowd. Creative director, Jason Burton states that, "the movie theater is a perfect venue for us. We utilize the theater's screens to create an impact not found elsewhere." Lockhart closes by pointing out The Crossings motto "From here to there". From Here To There explains our purpose of helping people get from wherever they are in life to where God intended them to be.

The Crossing meets Sunday Mornings at 10 am at the popular Palladium Cinema on Samet Drive in High Point NC.
