GTX's PermaTee Takes Driving Range Practice to a New Level

Through Jeff Sheets Golf Design's staff, GTX has introduced an innovative practice tee that reinforces a consistent setup, minimizes bending over while helping the environment by saving trees.

Scottsdale, AZ, August 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Golf Technologies Exchange, Inc. (GTX) will be launching their new PermaTee practice device at the upcoming PGA Expo in Las Vegas August 22 - 24. The PermaTee is an environmentally friendly practice golf tee that is reusable and remains permanently in place in the grass until physically removed by the golfer. Its self-tapping base penetrates even the most compacted driving range soil with the use of its installation tool. The PermaTee can be installed at various tee heights to practice with drivers, fairway and hybrid woods, in addition to irons and wedges. Most importantly, the PermaTee remains at its installed height until the golfer is ready to lower or raise the tee height for a different club.

Golf instructors have recognized the PermaTee as an excellent practice and teaching device. Because the PermaTee remains stationary during practice no time is wasted searching for lost or broken wood tees. And, because it remains stationary the ball height does not vary from shot-to-shot. The PermaTee will help reinforce a consistent setup and helps the golfer pursue a repeated swing plane.

The PermaTee is manufactured from nylon and urethane materials. Statistics show that more than 100,000 trees are destroyed each year for the production of wooden golf tees. Using a PermaTee eliminates the dependency of wooden tees on the practice range. Its durable design leads to a long lasting product that not only saves trees but will also eliminate the need to purchase wooden tees on an ongoing basis. And superintendent feedback indicates that PermaTee use on the driving range leads to a cleaner looking range without scattered broken tees.

See the PermaTee at the PGA Golf Expo in Las Vegas this August 23 – 24. GTX will be displaying in booth 1035 and will be participating in the Demo Night at the Callaway Golf Center on August 22. Those not attending the Expo can see the PermaTee at http://www.permatee.com.
