The collection features colors and elements from her love of horses and all things equestrian, from the rich brown of a western saddle to the beautiful tans of Palominos and, of course, one of the most well-known colts, Black Beauty.
Fashion and leisure activity have been incorporated since the beginning of time, so it's no surprise that Capella gets inspiration from one of her favorite pastimes from horseback riding in the hills of Southern California to opening day at the Del Mar Racetrack.
Capella says, “I used to love viewing the horses before the race to see who had spunk, so I knew who to bet on. And sometimes it was about the sheer beauty of the stallions themselves.”
Capella has incorporated several fall trends, such as Wool Plaids, to Burgundy, Nude and Mustard hues. Keeping up with trends can always be a challenge, but Capella has got every woman covered with this new collection from these fall colors to her very versatile styles and wide selection. In the last year, Capella has gained tons of new exposure through a national ad campaign called “What’s In Her Bag?” via Oscar Mayer featuring singer-songwriter Jewel and the popular Lauren Crossbody bag. This created a larger fan base and growing clientele from coast-to-coast.
Long-time supporter, Cerato Boutique on Southport, will celebrate the collection with their trunk show on September 17th. But Capella is also excited to add a South-loop favorite to her growing list of hand-selected boutiques. Florodora will introduce several new bags from the “Lexington” Collection on August 30th, and customers can shop the entire collection at her Fall trunk show on September 30th.
