Sarasota, FL, August 30, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- ezWaiter systems is announcing the latest release of their online ordering solution for restaurants. Their latest version, 4.0 has been released to the public for their hosted users. The upgraded system includes many new features as well as several enhancements to existing features to make them more desirable. The new features can be tried out on their demo system available at http://www.ezwaiter.com/demo.php.
The latest version includes Facebook Like, Twitter follow me, Tweet and the new Google +1 buttons. The addition of social media will help restaurants utilize the system to help leverage their market share using social media to increase their SEO.
In addition to the new features for social media, they have added SMS message notification of orders, which complements the existing fax and e-mail notification of orders. When the restaurant receives an order, if they wish, they can now receive a notice via a SMS enabled device. They are also currently working on adding a call notification system to add to the next version.
Another new feature includes a new location page that displays their street address as well as their site on google maps. Users can now click on a link from the main menu to see the restaurants location.
They have also upgraded their existing restaurant coupon system to include a viewable page that lists the restaurants current discounts/coupons available in ezWaiter. The restaurant owners now have the ability to create printable coupons in addition to the existing online coupon codes. The system notifies users if the coupon they are viewing is just an online only offer, or if it is a printable coupon that they can take into the restaurant and use. ezWaiter feels that this is a great addition and most restaurants utilize coupons to increase foot traffic. Enhancements to this are planned for a later release to allow the restaurants to add images to the coupons as well.
These features are currently in beta, available to their hosted customers only. Plans to launch into their enterprise software will be announced within the next few months.
