Atlanta-Based Comic Publisher Terminus Media LLC to Bring Promotional Tour for New Title Radio Free Amerika to DragonCon

Atlanta, GA, September 01, 2011 --( Terminus Media LLC (Terminus) is proud to announce DragonCon as an official stop on the Radio Free Amerika promotional tour. Members of the book’s creative team will be on hand in Artist Alley to sign autographs and meet fans.

Set in 2020, Radio Free Amerika chronicles the story of DJ Mose B., a young African-American man living in a refugee camp along the Canadian border following the overthrow of the United States government by a coalition of communist and Arab nations. “It’s Red Dawn meets The Wire. World War III from an urban perspective,” said creator B. Robert Bell. “After five years of occupation, the exiled U.S. forces are preparing to stage a second revolution. Mose operates a pirate radio operation, Radio Free Amerika, and passes information to the few remaining pockets of resistance fighters via the hip hop tracks he spins. He’s a young guy from Philly, completely out of his element, but doing what it takes to survive and help the cause.”

Radio Free Amerika is the most recent offering from Atlanta-based independent publisher, Terminus Media LLC. “Terminus is very excited to work with the Radio Free Amerika team to bring Robert’s vision to a global audience and DragonCon is the perfect opportunity to showcase the project,” said Terminus CEO and Publisher Mark Stancil. “The last few years have seen the geo-political stage shift significantly in some parts of the world and exploring a kind of what-if scenario on American soil was a very appealing concept for us. We’re extremely proud of Issue #1 and feel it’s the kind of true genesis story that will quickly get readers invested in the characters and excited for coming issues.”

Radio Free Amerika features the creative talents of writer/artist and creator B. Robert Bell (“Cobalt: Warrior Angel”), inker Don Hillsman (CrossGen’s “Scion”), colorist Lexington Wolfcraft (“Terminus Tales Presents #1: Platypus vs. Monkey”) and letterer Khari Sampson (“Terminus Tales Presents #1: Platypus vs. Monkey”).
