Rabine Paving Sponsors the Galapalooza

More than 750 people attended the fifth annual Galapalooza which included food, drinks and live music. The food was provided by six of the most popular food trucks of Chicago. Three Lollapalooza artists were featured at Galapalooza. They were Elizaveta, Walk the Moon and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, who was named Rolling Stones “Best Band of 2010.”

Cheryl Rabine, Chairperson, of the Rabine Group Foundation, said “Parkways Foundation puts great effort into supporting Chicago youth through summer camps and park maintenance. Galapalooza was a fun way to raise money for such an important part of Chicago.”

Galapalooza proceeds will support the Send a Kid to Camp Fund as well as nature and environmental science programming. These programs are designed to encourage the kids to get outdoors and be active.
