SEAL Veteran Saga: Spartacus Did the Right Thing Published by Outskirts Press

Outskirts Press announces the latest highly anticipated action and adventure fiction from Annapolis, MD, author Mike Tucker.

Annapolis, MD, September 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Spartacus Did the Right Thing by Mike Tucker. The author's most recent book to date is a 5.5 x 8.5 paperback in the action and adventure fiction category and is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/spartacusdidtherightthing was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.

Inspired by the legend of Spartacus, Spartacus Did the Right Thing is a classic journey story and a meditation on freedom. Raw, profane, gripping and poignant, Mike Tucker’s second novel is a tribute to the US Navy SEALS, a stunning homage to the Black Lahu, Hmong and Karen hill tribes of northern Thailand and a no-holds-barred tale of raids against Burmese Army slave labor patrols.

Above all, it is Jake Deveraux’s story, the story of a US Navy SEAL veteran whose quest leads him to discover a truth ancient as the legend of Spartacus and real in every generation: No matter how many lives you save, the most important life you save is your own.

185 pages in length, Spartacus Did the Right Thing is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the action and adventure fiction category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Spartacus Did the Right Thing meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $14.95.

Additionally, Spartacus Did the Right Thing can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press Direct bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/bookstore.
