benefitsCONNECT® Announces Their New billingCONNECT Product in Partnership with AmeriFlex

billingCONNECT provides brokers and employer groups with one point of contact for all benefits administration processes.

Elk Grove, CA, September 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- benefitsCONNECT® announced at their 3rd Annual Benefits Technology Users Summit the launch of billingCONNECT, a new service offering that reduces time spent on the labor-intensive tasks associated with reconciling carrier invoices each month. The billingCONNECT team will receive a client’s invoices, audit them against enrollment data in the benefitsCONNECT system, and then provide the client with employee-level reporting that details all amounts owed. If there are discrepancies or errors, billingCONNECT will work with the carriers to resolve those issues. Once the client has been provided with a monthly report of all amounts owed, billingCONNECT will ensure that the carriers are paid promptly.

The billingCONNECT team will serve as the single point of contact for all vendors and carriers, and ensure payments are made only for covered participants. They will also identify and resolve enrollment and premium discrepancies, thus reducing or eliminating the loss of premium by overpayment that can occur when managing multiple vendors.

"Partnering with benefitsCONNECT was a natural fit for AmeriFlex," said Scott Mardis, SVP Business Development for AmeriFlex. "Combining our award-winning flex and COBRA products with a recognized leader in benefits administration technology will enable us to meet a specific market need through one consolidated offering: billingCONNECT. Given the complexities present within the health care industry today, it is more important than ever that brokers and agents be able to deliver real value to their clients. We believe that billingCONNECT is the perfect vehicle for them to differentiate themselves from their competition while expanding and retaining blocks of business."

“By offering the billingCONNECT service, we continue to grow the list of ancillary services that brokers can use to provide value to their employers. billingCONNECT will help streamline the process of billing reconciliation and let HR administrators focus their time on other tasks,” says Ja’Nene Kane, President/COO of benefitsCONNECT®. “The AmeriFlex team has always been a strong partner, and we are proud to offer their flex administration services. The great thing about the offering is that it provides a lot of flexibility to the broker/employer as to how they would like to meet their needs.”
