Another Roadside Attraction at Pissedpoet Pics

Makati City, Philippines, April 09, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Pissedpoet Pics is pleased to announce the latest addition to their guest galleries of ‘Another Roadside Attraction’ by American photographer David Franck.

‘Another Roadside Attraction’ is a series of photographs depicting the vanishing icons of 1950’s American street culture. Theses images capture a time when free enterprise was more innocent and the 'American Dream' was fully alive. Mom and pop motels, restaurants and liquor stores peppered the old highways and byways, before major interstates were built bypassing small town America.

“These colourful images by Franck expand the concept of street photography,” said Henry Bateman, the publisher of www.pissedpoetpics.com. “Franck presents these signs of America's disappearing commercial landscape in all their glory, just as they once flashed past the weary traveler looking for rest and succor,” he added.

Another Roadside Attraction can be seen in the guest galleries at www.pissedpoetpics.com.
