Sears Garage Doors The Woodlands Announces Lifetime Warranties on New Garage Doors
Premier garage door installation and service company offers limited lifetime warranties on doors to give The Woodlands, TX customers peace of mind.
The Woodlands, TX, September 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sears Garage Doors The Woodlands (http://searsgaragedoorsthewoodlands.com) says it is backing new garage doors it sells and installs with limited lifetime warranties.
These lifetime warranties apply to Amarr garage doors sold and installed for area residents by the company.
“These warranties are for installations of Sears garage doors (sections and hardware) for single-family residential, residential condominium or similar multi-family housing,” according to Sears Garage Doors The Woodlands.
The warranties do not apply to commercial, industrial or non-residential installations.
The company also said the lifetime warranties for “Rust Through for Single Family Residential Homes extend to normal usage when the door has been installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.”
Garage door models covered by the warranties include the Traditional Plus 1000, Traditional Steel 3000, Steel Carriage House 3000, Traditional Plus 1000 and Traditional Plus 2000.
Other models covered are the Traditional Plus 3000, Traditional Max 4000, Traditional Max 5000, Premier Carriage House 1000, Premier Carriage House 2000 and Premier Carriage House 3000.
There are exceptions to the warranties. “The warranties do not apply to any damage or deterioration caused by abuse or misuse, failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance as defined by manufacturer’s maintenance and installation instruction,” the company said.
Sears Garage Doors The Woodlands says it will repair, replace or repaint, any sections or hardware found to be defective during the warranty period.
“If within the applicable warranty period, the sections or hardware warranted are found to be defective upon inspection by authorized Amarr personnel, Amarr agrees to repair, repaint, or replace, at Amarr’s option, the defective door sections or hardware. Proof of purchase is required.”
The company continues, “If your Sears steel garage door sections rust through because of the paint finish cracking or peeling, Amarr will repair or replace those sections for the warranty period listed in the Limited Warranty. Surface rust, chips or scratches in the paint, which result in cosmetic or surface corrosion, are not covered in this warranty.
“For all Sears steel garage door models, if any section, part or hardware, excluding glass, frames, inserts and perimeter seal, is defective in material or workmanship, Amarr will repair or replace it for the warranty period listed in the Limited Warranty table. The hardware warranty applies to standard lift and low headroom applications only (not to hi-lift or vertical lift).”
