OpenMake Software Expands Professional Services and Names Raymond Kratville Vice President

Anticipating growth in demand, former Serena executive expands solutions for complex Application Lifecycle Management

Chicago, IL, April 09, 2007 --(PR.com)-- OpenMake Software today welcomed former Serena and Merant executive Raymond Kratville as vice president of Professional Services. Ray joins OpenMake to build upon an experienced team of consultants and partners to launch new, expanded service offerings in the areas of direct consulting, customer support and education services.

Professional services have always been a key component and the foundation of OpenMake Software. OpenMake’s expanded portfolio of professional services helps customers bridge the gaps between development efforts and production results. This assures that the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process delivers software as a continuously repeating cycle of interrelated steps: definition, design, development, testing, deployment and management.

“We expect the demand for OpenMake Professional Services to double this year thanks to corporate requirements set by Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and increased reliability and production deployment pressures,” said Stephen King, CEO of OpenMake Software. “Based upon Ray’s leadership and core industry experience, we are confident that he will fulfill customer requirements for implementing improved build practices.”

According to analyst firm Gartner, Inc. because the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) has emerged as a de facto set of best practices for IT operations processes, there is tremendous demand for ITIL certification or compliance for people and tools. Increasingly, IT organizations are looking at best practices to define and improve their processes, with the intention of improving the quality, cost and service levels of the services being delivered.(1)
