Bryant Park Comes to The Plains, Virginia

The Windy Hill Foundation today announced its 10th annual fashion show to benefit affordable housing.

Middleburg, VA, September 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Windy Hill Foundation today announced its 10th annual benefit fashion show. The show will take place at 11:30 a.m., on Thursday, October 6, at Hillmount in The Plains, Va. The Windy Hill Foundation is a non-profit affordable housing organization located in Middleburg, Virginia and the fashion show is its largest annual fundraiser.

Clothes for the show will come from some of Middleburg, Virginia’s top retailers - Betsey, Duchessa, Highcliffe Clothiers, Lou Lou, Lou Lou Too, The Magic Wardrobe, Timmie Jane, and Tully Rector. And Wendy Pepper, famous Project Runway designer and owner of Wendy Pepper Designs, will show some of her latest creations.

Food will be provided by popular area restaurants including Back Street Café and Catering, Blackthorn Inn & Restaurant, The Fox’s Den Tavern, The French Hound, The Goodstone Inn & Estate Restaurant, Home Farm Store, Julien’s Café & Restaurant, and The Red Fox Inn & Tavern.

In addition to extraordinary fashion and food, the event will feature an auction that will include a seven day, six night stay at a beautiful Jamaican villa in Montego Bay. The villa is part of the luxurious Round Hill Hotel, which has served as a home-away-from-home for such well-known icons as President and Mrs. Kennedy, Princess Grace of Monaco, and Bing Crosby, among many others. The Windy Hill Foundation’s mission is to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing to low and lower income families and the elderly in Loudoun, Clarke, and Fauquier Counties and to encourage self-improvement and self-sufficiency among tenant residents. All proceeds from this event will help Family Development Committee programs including after-school programming for children, health screening and social programs for seniors, and an emergency fund for rental assistance and help with medical and utility bills to benefit all residents.
