)-- IDEA Health & Fitness Association, the world’s largest association for fitness and wellness professionals has selected Josh Proch of Defined Fitness, located in Wexford, PA, to speak at their 2012 IDEA Personal Trainer Institute event held February 16-19 in Alexandria, Virginia.
The Personal Trainer Institute is an annual event that has been sold-out for 3 years running and draws personal trainers from all over the globe who are looking to gain an edge and get ahead of the pack by learning from some of the top professionals in the fitness industry.
Josh’s presentation is titled, “Successful Fat Loss Programming: Semi-Private and Small Group Applications.” His goal is help other trainers develop a system that they can use to guarantee consistent results, and be able to take away a few tips that they can implement right away on Monday morning with their clients.
“There have been so many changes in the fitness field over the last couple of years, which has changed the way we train clients. We have seen that the average beginning client is more overweight and more de-conditioned than the average beginning client only 5 years ago. As a result the approach that we take with training clients has changed, what worked 5 or 10 years ago no longer works. My presentation is going to give a research based approach to developing systems to give clients the best possible fitness programs available and help sort through the abundance of information out there that can lead to information overload.”
Defined Fitness specializes in using functional training to help clients lose body fat and transform their bodies and the presentation will revolve around using that same approach to keep clients motivated and achieving their goals. Additionally Josh will be sharing his 9 years of experience in the industry, the mistakes made, and lessons learned.
