Ft. Pierce, FL, September 15, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- The key to getting kids to put down the electronic devices and exercise is to make it fun. Urban Fire has done just that through the recent addition of Get Movin’ for Kids classes to their weekly schedule.
“Our focus is to make sure that each class incorporates toning, stretching and cardio, while at the same time includes games and fun time,” says instructor and Director, Kelli Moore. “Of course, having a dance studio as the setting, with strobe and disco lights, makes the having fun part pretty easy.”
Offered three times a week, parents can bring their kids to “drop in” to a Get Movin’ class for only $5, or they can save money with a $30 monthly rate. Although the format strays from their traditional hip hop classes, simple dances are learned over the course of a few visits, so the participants will be included in the bi-annual UFDS Showcases.
