Poster Plus: Grand Re-Opening Gallery Party and Poster Conservation Demonstration

Chicago vintage poster gallery, Poster Plus, new gallery re-opening features rare behind scenes tour inside conservation lab to see poster restoration projects in action.

Chicago, IL, September 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Poster Plus, Chicago’s oldest existing original vintage poster gallery, has a new home in Chicago at 30 East Adams Street. For over 40 years, Poster Plus has specialized in preserving and selling authentic original vintage advertising posters. The new gallery space, located on the 11th floor features thousands of antique and collectible posters for sale as well as a vintage poster conservation lab for restoring and conserving posters.

To celebrate the big move, guests are invited to a grand re-opening event on Friday, September 23 from 5 pm – 8 pm at the new Poster Plus gallery.

Guests can see the new space, enjoy refreshments and view the collection of both Original Vintage and reproduction posters. Guests are encouraged to bring in their posters in need of repair, as discounts on linen-backing and poster conservation will be offered to those attending the event. For one evening only, visitors will have a rare opportunity get a glimpse inside the Conservation Lab to watch restorers bring old and damaged posters back to their original beauty.
