Award-Winning Historical Fiction Author to Make Appearance in Warrenton, VA

Jessica James will sign her award-winning Civil War novel Noble Cause at the Warrenton-Fauquier Heritage Day event.

Warrenton, VA, September 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The author of a book that is set entirely in Virginia during the Civil War will sign copies of her award-winning historical fiction novel in front of the Warren Green Hotel in Warrenton as part of Warrenton-Fauquier Heritage Day on Sept. 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Jessica James will sign copies of her new novel, Noble Cause, which won the coveted John Esten Cooke Award for Southern Fiction and the 2011 Next Generation Indie Award for Regional Fiction.

Often compared to Gone with the Wind, James’ new novel Noble Cause is called “riveting historical fiction” by the Midwest Book Review. Lauded for its ability to evoke intense emotion, the book presents the passionate debate of The War Between the States in an epic tale of love and adventure.

James has received high praise from Civil War historians and authors for her historical accuracy, and continues to garner favorable reviews in both the historical and romantic fiction genres. She was featured in the book 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading, published in 2010.

The Warrenton-Fauquier Heritage Day will include an historic Parade and Grand Review at 11 a.m. as well as living history, entertainment, hands-on demonstrations, special heritage displays, tours, lectures, and performances throughout the day.
