Raleigh, NC, September 18, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- The North Carolina Junior Golf Foundation’s Junior Tour, the North Carolina Junior Golf Tour, serves Tarheel Junior Golfers as well as those from neighboring states in the region and other countries. The North Carolina Junior Tour is open to all junior golfers that have not yet started college and have not yet turned 19. The Foundation is focused on providing low cost, high integrity junior golf tournaments within the Tarheel State. In order to keep junior golf affordable the NC Junior Golf Foundation does not charge a membership fee and entry fees are kept low, at levels necessary to cover tournament costs. As a volunteer based organization the Foundation does not have the higher costs of salaries and fees paid to directors that may increase entry fees by $70 or more above the costs charged by host golf courses. This, combined with strong fields and dedicated volunteers, makes the NC Junior Tour the preferred choice for junior golf tournaments in the Tarheel State.
The North Carolina Junior Golf Foundation operates the NC Junior Tour with an emphasis on affordability, quality and integrity. The mission of the Foundation is to serve junior golfers through hosting nationally ranked junior tournaments at top golf courses in North Carolina. The Foundation is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, several who played college and professional golf, that is dedicated to growing the game of golf and providing better access to high quality tournaments to all junior golfers.
