Norristown, PA, September 18, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- VolantDesign.com's offering is a colorful, animated Christmas Tree widget in advance of the holidays that runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. The reasonably priced application features a built-in mp3 player and can be decorated by hand with blinking lights and Christmas balls.
VolantDesign.com is a small Web design/development house specializing in custom web design and Adobe Flex cross-platform Web and desktop applications.
This is the most recent branching out for VolantDesign.com, which had previously expanded into the Web hosting industry. VolantDesign.com was founded in the yesteryear of the Internet -- the 1990's -- those days of 56k dial-up and brochure Web sites. It was a one-man operation then; it remains a one-man operation today. And, as such, it maintains a more personal, intimate character than a large organization. This is best exemplified by a sense of humor. Like a cheery, crackling campfire in the vast, cold impersonal corporate landscape, VolantDesign.com welcomes you to sit and warm your bones, sip hot tea (but not so hot as to burn your tongue) and... make up limericks.
There once was a press release gaffe,
Too short was its copy by half.
To correct this mistake,
The author did make,
This rhyme for some fill and a laugh.
Wouldn't you rather be reading,
A limerick that leaves you pleading,
For more of the stuff;
It's better than fluff,
To pad out for copy you're needing.
There was a young maid from Madras
Who had a magnificent ass
Not rounded and pink
As you probably think
It was grey, had long ears, and ate grass.
