Downingtown, PA, April 12, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- Sophie and Spice by Jill Pearson (www.sophieandspice.com), an online boutique that sells designer gifts for babies and children, now offers mom calling cards, a great gift idea for hip young moms this Mother's Day.
"Being a mom is a full time job, so why not have a card for it?" says Pearson. Mom calling cards are business cards for today's on-the-go moms. Cards usually have the woman's name, the name of her children, her phone number, email and other information printed on them. The backside can be used for emergency contacts or information about her child' allergies or medications. "Moms can hand out their number with style rather than searching for a scrap of paper at the bottom of their purse or diaper bag," says Pearson.
Sophie and Spice's mom calling cards currently come in six different designs. The premium cards are professionally printed with a glossy coating which makes them durable and waterproof (in case baby's bottle spills on them!) The designs are modern, fun, and sophisticated. A proof is emailed to the customer before the cards are printed.
Mrs. Pearson is a professional illustrator and designer. She received her BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts in 2001. Her digital collages have appeared in publications across the country. She has received awards from various illustration institutions and has exhibited in shows at New York's Society of Illustrators. Aside from illustration, Jill also specializes in designing youth sports posters for photographers around the country.
Eager to get back to her roots as an illustrator, Jill plans to come out with a line of children's wall art soon. She works from her home studio in suburban Philadelphia, taking breaks to change diapers and watch the wonders of her growing daughter.
