ChurchTrac Software Introduces New Automated Messaging Service

While traditional phone trees can be both slow and tedious, ChurchTrac’s automated messaging feature allows churches or other ministries to automatically call and deliver a message, or send a text message to every phone number on their list.

Jacksonville, FL, September 21, 2011 --( ChurchTrac Software, Inc. introduced its newest feature, Automated Messaging, in a recent program update. ChurchTrac’s Automated Messaging Service (AMS) will call or send a text message to every person on the user’s list. Unlike a traditional phone tree, ChurchTrac uses VOIP technology to call and deliver messages in just minutes.

This new feature is a great added benefit for churches and organizations trying to get the word out about prayer requests, schedule changes, volunteer requests, time change reminders, choir rehearsals, special events, event reminders and so much more.

The messages are charged on a per credit basis. ChurchTrac sells credits for as low as 10 cents each, each credit allowing the user to send one voice or text message to one number. No special equipment or subscription is required.

Developed in 2004, ChurchTrac is an easy-to-use church membership software program used by more than 10,000 churches worldwide to manager their members, groups, attendance, contributions and more. It is available free for small churches at an a very affordable price for larger churches.
