Help a Veteran, Win Two Motorcycles

Sweepstakes gives everyday people the opportunity to offer a helping hand to injured armed forces while having the chance to win Harley-Davidsons.

Palm Harbor, FL, September 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Healing Heroes Network has developed a campaign to add a little more excitement to donating to charities, with their "Harleys for Heroes" sweepstakes.

Healing Heroes Network is a 501(c)3 charity organization based out of Palm Harbor, FL. HHN provides financial assistance for medical treatments to the men and women in our armed forces injured in Iraq or Afghanistan on or after September 11, 2001. When donating to the "Harleys for Heroes" sweepstakes, participants receive chances to win two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, a 2011 Street Glide and a 2011 Fat Boy Lo, as well as a year's worth of gas.

HHN has shown the bikes at various biker events including Quaker Steak and Lube and Peggy's Corral. But while the motorcycles are great, helping veterans in need is really what the "Harleys for Heroes" campaign is about.

"Many of us don't always realize how a little 'thank you' can mean so much to our soldiers," said Stacey Spiegel, Executive Director of Healing Heroes Network. "This campaign allows supporters to not only have a chance to win two new motorcycles and a year of gas, but it gives them a chance to show they honor our troops and appreciate their sacrifices."

"Harleys for Heroes" sweepstakes started August 1, 2011 and ends December 1, 2011. To donate for the sweepstakes, people can go to www.GetTheBikes.com. The drawing will be held December 8, 2011, and the winner will be announced on December 11, 2011. For more information on the Healing Heroes Network, visit www.healingheroes.org.

About Healing Heroes Network

After the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and the subsequent war on terror, thousands of members of our armed forces have been injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. Often these men and women are unable to receive the medical treatments that would facilitate their return to a productive civilian life. While the Department of Veteran Affairs provides treatment to these troops, the scope of covered services is limited, sometimes unavailable, and often delayed.

Healing Heroes Network was founded in 2008 by Dr. Allan Spiegel and his wife Stacey in order to fill these gaps. Healing Heroes Network, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, was formed with a network of medical providers throughout the United States to facilitate the treatment process. Healing Heroes Network provides financial assistance for those desperately needed therapies and services.
