Harlem Hip-Hop Tours Provides Free Entrepreneurship Workshops for New York City Public Schools

New York, NY, September 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- In keeping with President Obama's emphasis on the importance of education and entrepreneurship in helping lift America out of its economic crisis; Harlem Hip-Hop Tours (H3 Tours) is providing free Entrepreneurship Workshops for NYC public schools, grades 7-12.

Each workshop is taught by Harlem Hip-Hop Tours founder and CEO, Adrienne Smith. Ms. Smith received her MBA from Columbia Business School and is a firm believer in the power of entrepreneurship and the need to have it assume a more prominent role in America’s education system.

The Entrepreneurship Workshops last one hour and use simple, everyday examples to teach students the basics of customer demographics, marketing, distribution, and profit. At the end of the workshop, students will have completed a full-fledged business plan that they can then submit to the H3 Tours Business Plan Competition for a chance to win $100 in seed financing.

The free H3 Tours Entrepreneurship Workshops are taught on-site at each school and can be scheduled Monday-Friday throughout the school year.
