Food waste to BioGas project moves toward second phase and closer to equipment production.

Detroit, MI, September 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- D & R Energy Services announced today that they have completed the first phase of a multi-phase project dealing with Anaerobic Digestion of food waste. Robert Craig, Senior Engineer of D & R Energy says, “With the Engineering P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Drawings) phase now complete, the startup company we are working with will be able to move closer to production.” The next phase will consist of design of a multi-channel control system.

Anaerobic Digestion is the act of breaking down wastes and converting it to Methane Gas. This gas, known as a Renewable Energy BioGas, can be used to create heat and electricity to further reduce our dependence on foreign oil and also reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions.
