ASM’s GC Showcase Offers a Rare Opportunity to Meet the Area’s Premier General Contractors
Boston, MA, October 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts will host the GC Showcase on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at The Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA. The GC Showcase will provide Boston-area subcontractors the opportunity to network with some of the area’s premier general contractors. The event is free and will serve to provide an essential platform for subcontractors to establish business connections, gain valuable insight into the operations of the firms and highlight their businesses.
ASM is expecting a record number of subcontractors looking to make connections with more than 15 of the area’s general contractors including Suffolk Construction, Gilbane, Columbia Construction, Consigli Construction, Erland Construction and Tocci, with additional GC’s signing on daily.
“In light of the economic impact on the construction industry it is even more difficult for subcontractors to meet one-on-one with general contractors – the GC Showcase will provide a rare opportunity for subcontractors to meet with company VP’s, Estimators, Project Managers and Purchasing Agents,” explained David G. Cannistraro, Executive Vice President of J.C. Cannistraro and President of ASM. “The event will generate visibility for subcontractors, giving them the edge they need to remain competitive in today’s marketplace.”
The event is structured in a tradeshow format where each general contractor is provided table space to showcase their businesses and projects, and interact with the attendees who will circulate throughout the room.
The event will be held at the Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA on Tuesday, November 1 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is open to members and non-members. Refreshments will be served throughout the evening as attendees meet with representatives from each of the general Contractor firms.
