Vampros is a great warrior, respected by most, feared by all. But in the year 1,500 B.C., when the walled city of Jericho is under threat of extinction, Vampros’ life is turned around by the attack of a fallen angel and the betrayal of his closest friend.

Following the death of his beautiful wife by the hands of the attacking army, Vampros realizes he has been cursed to eternal life without his lover, without the ability to shed tears, and with a thirst for blood that turns him into an animal. It is only in the discovery that Elizabeth is reborn every few hundred years that Vampros finds a reason to carry on. However, his old enemies have also found ways to sustain an unnaturally long life, and for thousands of years they never stop causing more pain and suffering to an already tortured soul.
