"Nestled among the rolling hills of North Central Texas is a 38-acre haven for abused and abandoned dogs. As close to heaven as they will ever be this side of the Rainbow Bridge is a special place known as: Animal Angels Sanctuary." - Carole Sanders

All Funds raised will go toward Animal Angels Rescue and Sanctuary, located in Jacksboro, Texas. Donations will be used to help fund important programs for the animals. These include spay and neuter procedures for every single one of the animals, micro chipping to ensure identification, providing food, vaccinations, medicine and surgeries for more than 300 animals currently residing at the sanctuary. Some of these, mostly large breed dogs, are available for adoption; others find a safe haven here for life.

"We've found homes for the lucky ones who were adoptable and been able to better provide for those that are here for the long haul. Although we don't think there's an animal here that isn't adoptable, the truth is, some would not do well in a family. There is a place for some of these dogs though. Recently, we've placed one female Black Lab with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and one male Lab/Mastiff X with a local police department. We think it's wonderful when an animal that needs to work can make such a noble contribution to the welfare of our country." - Carole Sanders
