)-- TV4U.com, the 48 channel IPTV network that carries more than 7,500 classic TV shows, has pacted with TotalVid.Com, a leading subscription IPTV channel, for several hundred premium classic sports events to be available for video download on a subscription basis.
Most of the programming in the package comes from the TVS Television Network, the fourth oldest commercial TV network in the USA. TVS is currently celebrating its 50th year as a major USA independent television network.
Other programming in the package comes from the Mizlou Television Network, Katz Sports, the TCS and MetroSports Networks, CD Chesley, and Sports Network, Inc.
Classic college football bowl games, classic NCAA basketball games, classic NASCAR races, and pro bowling, tennis, golf, and arm wrestling are some of the classic sports in the package.
Included in the package are the 300 classic sports games that TV4U supplied to the Classic Sports Network when it signed on in the 1990's.
Star players in the package include Bo Jackson, Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Bill Walton, Bobby Allison, Brett Favre, Lawrence Taylor, Randall Cunningham, Chis Mullin, Patrick Ewing, Bill Elliot, Richard Petty, Muhammad Ali, Jimmy Connors, Lee Trevino, and Larry Bird.
TotalVid.Com is a premium subscription IPTV service. Originally owned by Landmark Communications, it is now owned by BSG, a public company from the UK.
