The Animal Endocrine Clinic Successfully Kicks Off Its Lecture Series in NYC

Drs. Mark Peterson and Rhett Nichols spoke to a sold out crowd on animal endocrinology disorders.

New York, NY, October 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Animal Endocrine Clinic recently held the first of its educational lecture series on feline and canine endocrinology disorders. The event, held on a Sunday at New York University’s Wasserman Center, had a sold out crowd.

Said Dr. Peterson, “We were pleased to have such a large crowd of veterinarians and vet techs attend the event. By gathering and sharing knowledge, veterinarians will be able to provide better treatments to their clients and their clients’ pets.”

The event was sponsored by Dechra Veterinary Products and Antech Diagnostics, both of whom were please at the level of attendance. In addition to speaking about treatments and innovations in the study of endocrinology, Drs. Nichols and Peterson devoted a presentation to speaking about specific cases of feline hyperthyroidism and dietary management.

Dr. Rhett Nichols added, “The event was a success. The attendees were very engaged and gave us a lot of feedback that we can use to improve our next seminar. We are looking forward to holding more of them throughout the year in different locations.”

Due to the enthusiasm around the initial event, Drs. Peterson and Nichols are planning a second event in early 2012 at a Westchester County, New York or Stamford, Connecticut location. Information about the event and specific topics will be publicized as the date nears.
