Held on Oct. 1, the race included both a 5K and 10K run and walk, with all fundraising proceeds going to the advancement of breast cancer education, screening and treatment services. Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure™, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, is an international network of breast cancer survivors and activists raising funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
