In this position, Angel will work in conjunction with a project architect to develop drawings from schematic design through construction documents, as well as follow a project during bidding and construction phases and occasionally participate in marketing proposals. In addition, she will manage and coordinate the design team’s efforts for specific projects involving the LEED certification process.
Prior to joining SfL+a Architects, Angel worked for three years at Stevens & Wilkinson, an architecture, engineering and interior design firm located in Columbia, S.C. She participated in the creation of government, educational and community projects specializing in sustainable design there, as well as supervised the process for projects pursuing LEED certification. Her professional memberships include the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Triangle chapter and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) NC Triangle chapter.
