Merrifield, VA, October 15, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Public Launch of Limn Literary & Arts Journal website and fundraising campaign.
Limn launches Journal and Fundraising campaign to help artists with disabilities.
Limn Literary & Arts Journal announces the launching of their website and their submission dates. Limn Literary & Arts Journal was created to give exposure to new and emerging artists and also bridge the gap between art and assistance. Money raised by donations, submission/reading fees and contests will fund yearly grants for persons with disabilities who are pursuing any kind of art education or art therapy.
Limn Literary & Arts Journal was incorporated and given nonprofit status by the State of Virginia in September 2011. Limn is comprised of a volunteer staff of literary and arts professionals. The Poetry, Fiction and Drama editors met at Goddard College in Vermont. Shortly after graduating in 2011, they decided that they wanted to use their love of literature and art as a way to give assistance to artists with disabilities and artists in need.
Limn publishes fiction, poetry, drama and art. Writers at all stages of their careers are invited to apply. Submissions will be accepted November 1, 2011 – April 1, 2011. Limn’s submission policy is located at www.limnliterary.org.
