Matthew 25: Ministries Responds to Devastation Resulting from Heavy Rains in Central America

Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered in Blue Ash, OH is responding to flooding in Central America with truckloads of aid that will begin shipping out on Friday, October 21. As many as two dozen additional containers carrying a selection of disaster relief products such as water, blankets, clothing, cold medicine and rice/soy blend from Matthew 25’s Food Processing Center will be dispatched over the next two weeks.

Cincinnati, OH, October 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Persistent Rains and Tropical Depression Have Area on High Alert

Over the past week, Central American countries including Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and Costa Rica have been battered by heavy and persistent rains. Rivers have burst their banks, many areas are flooded or isolated, thousands of people have lost their homes, roads and bridges have been damaged and rain generated by a tropical depression continues to fall across the area. More than 100,000 people in Nicaragua alone have been affected by the flooding.

Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization headquartered in Blue Ash, OH is responding to this crisis situation with truckloads of aid that will begin shipping out on Friday, October 21. As many as two dozen additional containers carrying a selection of disaster relief products such as water, blankets, clothing, cold medicine and rice/soy blend from Matthew 25’s Food Processing Center will be dispatched over the next two weeks.

Matthew 25 is also accepting cash donations and donations of requested products including over the counter cold medicines and medical supplies, tents and tarps, blankets, rain gear, bottled water, dehydrated, canned or ready-to-eat food, basic grain products such as beans, rice and soy and gently used clothing.
